Nice campus and good facilities, some lectures not so great and seem unmotivated at times. Some of the lecture rooms are a little old but overall quite good. Lots of lectures are recorded and put online which is good for revision during exams. Gernally assignments are explained well and good guidnece but marking takes a bit too long (4 weeks) and is sometimes posted even later than that.

Really fantastic uni and city - everyone is helpful and friendly! As a third year biomedical scientist I have little free time these days, but the social life in the first couple of years was 10/10. Can’t beat stags for a pint after your last exam.

The university is great when it comes to social events and bringing people together. The campus is quite odd especially when you could have a psychology lecture in the chemistry building, it’s almost a fun experience. The facility is good at responding to request and sorting out problems especially during this period of strikes.

The campus is very collected and all the important services like food and cafes are in the middle. The campus is logical and some buildings are very new.

Great campus and union, organisation of everything could be improved. Good career services and love the course.

Very clean campus with large open spaces, great study areas in the summer. Sports facilities are good but they are expensive. My course is interesting, i only have 10 hours a week though so its not really worth the £9000 a year. The union is good but it barely ever hosts student nights out

I think the university has an arrogance around it that it should not have. The accommodation is over priced. The gym is a very good facility but its always busy. Library facilities are outstanding. Good distance from town. Lots of societies available.

Campus is lush. Lectures are okay. Library is amazing. Sport societies are costly but very fun. SUSU the students union is pretty good with a lot of helpful services although they could always do with more money. I became development captain of the Southampton university basketball club and found a passion for the game. I organised the largest spectator sporting event in Southampton's history incorporating band dance cheer and choir into the performance

needs a better gym. football is called off too much. teaching is very meh. Spaces for learning/revising are fine. cafe and other uni bars are good.

The campus is really big and beautiful at the same time. Library is huge, i think it is the biggest library in South of England. Organisations are well prepared.

The area is really pretty (right by the coast and big parks) and the variety of clubs and societies this uni has to offer is incredible.

Pretty good location, career services have been helpful and quick to respond during my placement year, politics lecturers always willing to speak 1 to 1 when you have questions. not enough study space during exam periods, Gym too busy and expensive.

Overall, The University is really great. What I like the most about my studies is the help that I receive from variety of different teachers. However, because my campus is in Winchester and not Southampton I feel like I am often missing on opportunities that are happening at the main campus.

Beautiful campus. Everything you need within 10 mins of each other. Student union could be better as there are not many events that actually involve the union- more use of city clubs instead. These clubs are good at catering for students though!

Excellent staff in my department of Archaeology. Overall a good selection of modules, however, some are unhelpful. For example, the skills and methods modile in second year is too basic to help with a dissertation, and is much more suited as a first year module. Combined honours degrees are also unbalanced, with compulsive modules hindering flexibility meaning it can be challenging to do the modikds you want to without clashes.

Not horrendous, not brilliant - good facilities but lack of care for the humanities department is a big issue. I feel there needs to be more investment across the board for all subjects

The campus is pretty and the fasciities are on point. Some Lecturers need some training considering how much they get paid

Beautiful campus especially as it’s now snowing and Highfield looks like a winter wonderland. Courses are often filled with extra learning practices like tutorials and workshops instead of just listening in lectures.

Southampton is a lovely university with a lot of diversity, fun things to do and enthusiastic and caring lecturers. The uni in general is really top quality education-wise as there are a lot of resources available for example, in the library.

Good lecturers and very good facilities for ocean and earth sciences. A free bus pass in the first year also gives me the freedom to explore the city I live in now.

The campus at the University of Southampton is very green and close to a large park called the Common. The facilities are clean and fresh with a mix of modern and older buildings. the library has a lovely curved wooden staircase which is a pretty cool feature. The SU is okay, and do try hard to be useful for students. Overall the university is a nice place to study in my opinion!!

Campus is nice to be in. Facilities are mostly modern and easy to access/ use. My course (physics) has good structure with good flexibility. Union is good at organising events and inter mural events

Business Management course is very varied and the business school offers many opportunities to learn new skills, get exposure to big employees and get involved in different events!

This university has a very good report but however I have found with my course (nursing) there is barely any support and many student feel pushed out of the course. Wjen they are struggling financial , emotionally or even have some basic health problems
