Lovely campus! Halls are an excellent choice for first years - with each accommodation being in close proximity to each other it's a fantastic way to meet new people! I'd felt at home within a few days of moving in. The Union organise a number of events to occupy your time within the first week which are good fun! The campus itself is very picturesque, such a nice place to stroll around with the loch and castle grounds. A range of courses are on offer, with flexibility being a key factor to my choosing of this University. A range of subjects can be combined and the ability to choose an array of different topics in first and second year allows you to expand your horizons - see which best suits your interests. Tutors are willing to help at all times and are only an email away. A number of student services are also available which allow for extra help which is an added bonus. Clubbing is good fun, especially on student nights where drinks and tickets are cheaper! All in all I reccommend this University if you're looking for a tight-knit community (small uni so you will recognise a lot of people) - and lovely surroundings.

Campus is stunning with the beautiful lake looking over the university. I tidy primary education with environmental science, the timetable is spread out which is great. Easy to book careers appointments etc.

My experience has been amazing! This course is set up in a way that really helps prepare you for a career in mental health. The assessments were very straight forward and included essays, reports and exams. Also the teaching methods were very diverse as they included seminars, lectures (which were recorded and were available on the university website :)) and computer classes, all of which provided different oppertunities  to work in a group, take initiative and improve our critical thinking. The staff was always encouraging and helpful!!!

I study a joint honours in Film and Media and Journalism. Doing a joint degree in these subjects is very useful for people interested in media in general, as it opens up a variety of avenues. Doing both allows you to take a variety of modules which may only be available on either journalism or film and media together. First year journalism modules (as well as most other journalism modules in the first two years) are very dull, but provide a good base for future knowledge and also include shorthand tutorials as a required componant.

The psychology modules at stirling in your first three years give you a go at everything which makes it much easier to choose what you'd like to focus on in final year. The module choices in fourth year are super helpful as well if you want to try something you think you'd fancy studying further.
As well as the course content and structure, I'd recommend stirling university to anyone; their student support services are second to none and the campus has such a community feel to it.
