I love being a student at Strathy! All of our lecture power points are put up on our university website "myplace" which is specific to each student. It's easy to access and full of useful information. I like studying at the library which has different floors for different study types: silent (my favourite), quiet and group work. The group work floor is lively and great for anything you need to do with other people. They have great vending machines which may not seem important, but when you are panic studying and staying up late they are fab! I am in 3rd year of uni but I am still not exactly sure how to access papers and books. It's all a bit complicated and on computers but I'm sure if you actually asked the staff, they could help you. The union is brilliant!!!! Cheap drinks and a great vibe. My favourite is "The yard" which is a bar with hundreds of pool tables- Very chill and sells pizza, perfect! The union staff are also very helpful. They can help with clubs and societies, finance, equality, disability and welfare etc. They are young and very approachable which I think makes a difference. I wouldn't want to go and talk to some scary, old, grumpy woman about my personal issues, no thank you. I'll stick with the young, fun ones. Most of Strathclyde's buildings are a bit hideous. Built in the 1970's they are leaky, ugly and falling to pieces. However, does that really matter when you are getting a great education? Overall, I like being a strathy student. If I've ever had a problem, I have been helped and supported quickly and the social life is good fun.

Very friendly atmosphere around campus and Glasgow in general Great location- can easily walk to anywhere you need to go Great new gym

The campus is very close-knit and you can reach one side to the other within a 10 minute walk (but the horrible Montrose Street Hill will set you back). I'm part of the strathclyde business school and although it's veey challenging, I always find it rewarding to look back on and everything I do will benefit me in the long run. They have an amazing business school reputation for a reason.

I am currently a honours student studying history and politics and I couldn’t imagine studying anywhere else. The history department have been so facilitating throughout my years and have truly helped me progress. The campus is an ideal location for me allowing me to stay at home but also giving me lots of public transport options. I live the street art that can be found across the campus which I believe adds something special.

Strathclyde is a very nice university, the campuses are modern and have a large variety of resources available to students. For those who prefer older looking building there is the royal college campus. We also have a large library and very good sports facilities. The Union is good too, it has a fair amount of places to eat or have a drink. The only problem i think that the place is not very centralised which means you could find yourself running from one campus to another.

Brilliant lecturers in the Psychology department. University is easy to navigate and in a very central location in Glasgow. The new sports facility opening in summer 2018 will be amazing and state of the art.

The buildings are not very logical so I get lost quite often, but they are beautiful! I love all the events which are organised during the year. And I really love the Strathclyde foodsharing group! All the facilities (water taps, toilets, etc.) in the university are good and well maintained. I will miss Strathclyde after I'm done with my Masters.

University is good but the organisation is bad and the marking is inconsistent. Some buildings are quite old which is cool but also the newer buildings are much better.

The course MPharm was carried out exceptionally. The careers service was helpful in job applications as well. The student union had different services and facilities that suited different groups

The campus is in the city centre so great access to everything in Glasgow. Union is a great hang out spot. The library is really good and with a new sports facility getting built so will the gym.

I found that the student union is incredibly basic and not very clean, and not even that cheap Also why does graduating cost money??

The university is very efficient for some courses, but not others. I, personally, felt that my experience was lacking - poor nightlife, and lack of opportunities to form friendships for those who are living at home rather than in halls.

Great facilities. Modern university. Helpful and knowlegable staff. Well thought and planned coursework.

The course is well structured, and taught by well-regarded academics. Staff have generally been very caring and helpful, and I feel like they are doing everything they can to help us succeed.

Strathclyde is a load of fun- a recent £15million renovation is paving the way for improved sports facilities and a better learning environment

I love Strathy, don’t regret my choice to study here! Love the union and the social life. We need a new library but.

The campus is located in the city center and the facilities are good. There is an amazing student union where a lot of great activities are organised.

Location is fantastic. I'm so close to so many different transport links meaning my selection for accomodation is quite good. Finding somewhere to live directly beside the campus is quite expensive but I live 4 miles away and it may as well be next door thanks to the bus and it saves over £300 a month on rent. Facilities are great, some aspects of the campus are a little dated but they seem to be renovating.

Strathclyde university is beautiful but I do find that the inside of the buildings can sometime be outdated. Also, because there are so many buildings, it is very confusing where is what. In some cases, I have had lectures in different buildings and because they were so far away, it was practically impossible to make it in time to the class. Therefore, I wish it was a little more organised sometimes.

The university teaching and quality of staff is fantastic. The availability of resources is not great, and leaves students fighting for less than adequate time slots and available technology. However the student union is great, and is currently being expanded

Course not particularly well organised, however the content is interesting and useful. General things seem to be made overcomplicated. Such as i need a seperate student card for the gym, the library, uni and printing. Surely one would do. There's no printing allowance. Student support and well-being have a massive waiting list, and when I finally did attend they were useless
