Surrey university is an amazing university full of wonderful people. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting really nice lecturers who have supported tremendously and are always happy to advice you when it comes to work. Also it’s location to London makes it the perfect place to go out because London is so close, which is full to the best night clubs!

I am not really "in" this topic. So I can't comment. However i haven't anything "wrong" and I know that there are societies supporting it.

Doctor's appointments are the most complicated thing I have ever tried to do. The process isn't clear, and if you have an urgency and you have had trouble in registering they don't even bother to attend you.
Support for international students

The process was really easy, however there are things which they don't take into account such as the fact that our English level (for the ones that have not english as a native language ) is lower and they don't let us use a dictionary for example on our exams.
Support and facilities for disabled students

I know that disabled students have a a lot of facilities or at least that's what I have been able to see. However I haven't experienced it so i can't make objective points.

Psychology is an interesting subject but must be taught well to keep the interest up. We have had a mixture of lecturers, with some being excellent and unfortunately more of them being poor (featuring behaviour such as playing with the lights, not making eye contact, giving one hour lectures, reading off the slide etc.).

This course is very full on-even from day 1! It is very practical and the facilities are top notch. There is a nice amount of live animal handling, however there could be more. Staff are willing to help and will work with you as much as they can but you need to want to, you won't get chased up too much. Within the students, there is such a friendly, family atmosphere. Older students will help the younger students (there is a peer support scheme) so even though at the start it is quite overwhelming, you get the support you need.

Overall, the course is well structured and the complexity increases gradually over time. I'm fully satisfied with the lecturers and the support provided. After the lectures there are labs or tutorials which enhance your understanding of the material. As a practically oriented degree the assessment includes not only exams but also individual or group courseworks.

Course module review - Professional & Industrial Skills For Career Development, 14/02/2017

Submitted by Anonymous on

This module focuses your learning during the placement year to increasing your understanding of the workplace. there is lenience within the module to which reports you write but all reports give you an insight into health and safety as well as structure of a company. It also increases other soft skills like presenting, report writing, communication and the course works well to improve these

Course module review - Fluid Mechanics & Thermodynamics 1 , 25/05/2016

Submitted by Anonymous on

A very difficult module, especially as it is undertaken by first year students. It is challenging and the exam is hard as well but it is taught by an excellent professor, Dr. Alan Packwood. Fluids is based mainly on mathematical formulas namely the bernoulli equation whilst thermo is based more on theory
