Good campus, food options are quite expensive, library open 24 hrs which is great, HAS courses need more help, the uni is trying to get better at inclusion but has a long way to go

I study Graphic Design at UWE in Bristol. I get to study in the Arnolfini, an art gallery beside the beautiful harbour. Bristol is an amazing city to study an arts degree in. There are loads of activities to get involved in to be a part of the community. And it can help with your course throughout the years.

This is about one module in particular: Digital Communication Management (DCM).

The lecturer, Jordan Phillips, is a guest, who loves to tell us about how he runs his own business. He has openly said that we are not his priority as he has other jobs. My degree is my priority.

He changes his mind all the time. We are in the middle of an assignment due next month, and everyone is confused. We have never been taught how to do the things he is asking for us. He always says "this is how you do it" and then next week, you come in and he says it's wrong.

Course module review - Equity and Trusts, 14/05/2016

This particular module has a great team of lecturers and workshop tutors. The lectures have been fully engaging and the supplementary workshops helped to further the knowledge gained in the lecture. The team have made a very complex module a lot simpler through great teaching styles. The mix of assessments on the module offers something for everyone. It is a core module for any law student so it is very lucky that it was as good as it has been!

Course module review - Strategic Management, 21/10/2015

For a 15 credit module, we have to do too many works. I simply do not understand why we were required to have a 2 hrs workshop where all we did was sit around in a group of 4/5 and discuss the questions based on the lecture. Most of the time, the students were going off-topic and when the discussions were finished each group had to shout-out the answers/idea and the rest took note of that. Nobody knew whether those were correct or not and we had our assessments based on those discussion.

Course module review - architecture and planning, 24/09/2015

Undertaking life projects and working with the real architects is a fabulous experience that allows to learn and develop knowledge and understanding. Team work is a numbe one priority which me as a student is learning on a day to day basis. This gives an idea of how the proffesion is going and provides valueable experience for my future careere opportunity. The resources however are not too great at the unversity. I want to highlight the little number of A0 plotter that are crucial for every architecture student.
