The facilities provided by the law school have been first class throughout my three years. There are careeers networking events available to attend for free every week, and often meals and drinks with Law Firms.

The campus is a nice campus, but this year there's been all year which has been a bit annoying. The facilities are mostly good, however the food on campus is very pricey considering it's supposed to be for students. I do electronic engineering, I think my course is really intense, some days we had lectures, labs and work shops that made the day 9-5 in the second term which was stressful because you're expected to study more on top of that. Overall, it's good because the quality of teaching is good. I don't really use the careers service or student union so I can't really comment but they look useful. I think this year has been a bit disorganised because of the strikes and snow.

The university of York offers a wide range of courses, I studied archaeology and found the department and staff to be welcoming, approachable and provided hands on experience. With the ability to work independently but also having the support of the teaching staff, it helped to develop life long skills and abilities transferable to the specialise field or any other job.

The university has a great campus, teaching and overall environment. The politics course is taught well and the lecturers are currently bery active in the field.

My course is really good. You get lots of lab experience and the facilities are great. The campus is a mix of old/new buildings, so some of it isn't particularly scenic but overall it's decent.

I have had a brilliant 3 years here at York. The location of the city is perfect for me, and the city itself is welcoming, beautiful and has so much to do. All of the staff in the Education department have gone above and beyond to make the experience as good as possible and help us get the most from our qualification. Careers services are brilliant with so many opportunities both for volunteering while at uni and helping find employment afterwards.

Beautiful campus and vibrant enthusiastic student atmosphere. Nice combination of urban and rural values which is calming on the conscience and extremely aesthetically pleasing

Heslington West is a bit of a 60s Soviet Union army camp mixed with a university campus. Heslington East is much nicer, but in the middle of literally nowhere. Lots of geese everywhere though. Politics Department is cool.

Good campus, modern accommodation, sports facilities always improving, lecture rooms could do with updating though, no need to be using blackboards in 2018

The campus is pretty close to the city center, and really easy to get around. Anyone is welcome to help you whether it be for directions, computer issues, international student help (I’m an international student), and anything else you ever need! The new east campus is so beautiful, and the older campus has amazing character. The classes are sort of hard but I manage. Overall, my experience has been good with the University of York

I love york. The campus is so beautiful and s nice distance from the city and student houses. I studied PPE a which gave me the opportunity to learn lots from different disciplines and be part of the school of ppe that helped tie it all together. The sports facilities were good on campus but a bit expensive. The best part of my university experience however was definitely the college system. As a member of a college you immediately feel like a member of a family, it is so inclusive and makes freshers so much less daunting. Being in derwent gave me opportunities to join sports teams, go to college events, support college occasions all with my friends from the college too! Derwent for life

Lots of geese. They attack and bite me at least 7 times a day but they're so damn cute I don't really mind. Also has anyone mentioned we have the biggest plastic bottomed lake in Europe?

I simply love my University. As an international student it has been an amazing experience. They really take care of diversity and the on campus facilities. York in general is also an amazing olace to be. People are extremely friendly and helpful. The University has given me an exposure that i think I wouldn’t had seen or received anywhere else. Overall my experience has been amazing.

I study chemistry at York, both the facilities and staff are incredible. There is tonnes of student support and a very positive atmosphere in and around campus. Some buildings are beginning to show their age but other than that a very good university experience.

The campus of university of York is really nice and new buildings are recently included that is really good. Bars and restaurants on canpus are good, courtyard is one of the best and really good prices, the ones on campus east should be cheaper. The gyms on campus in my oppinion should have been cheaper or even free for us students maybe build one gym for each college. Im really satisfied with my course even though we have problems when we state them down on feedback they solve them out formthe following students. Good expirience overall with a nice environment and very good and helpful stuff.

York is a very large university with a mixture of old and new buildings. As it is a collegiate uni it made meeting people very easy especially those who aren't on your course. The library is massive with different areas for those who want to work in complete silence and those who want to talk whilst working. There are two different campuses east and west. East being the newest is now becoming more student friendly with a range of shops and restaurant opening up. There is a free bus route when travelling around campus. There's lots of wildlife around university including geese and rabbits. On campus there are loads of bars and restaurants run by the SU and they are all not-for-profit.

College system is fantastic, really does feel like a community. Outstanding teaching staff and resources, requires more independent study stations as library is often full.

The university itself is wonderful. Compact with all the necessary requirements and needs. The newer campus is modern and well built with more work being done to extent the campus and supply us with a supermarket, doctors surgery etc. The campus is well kept with maintanence/caretakers always around, clearing up litter/preserving the gardens etc. Parking facilities are good and also a reliable bus service to and from campus' and into town and the train station.

The best thing about York is how friendly and helpfull the lectureres are they consistently go out their way to help with any questions you might have, including you being able to knock on their office door at any time their in. Only room for improvement comes from how some lectureres go way to fast during lectures making it difficult to take notes.

Loved the uni. My course is on the newer campus so my experience with lectures and seminars were good. However my accommodation was on the older side and was horrible old and dirty

The university has a super welcoming environment. There are coffee shops everywhere and lots of different learning spaces to study in so it's easy to find one that works for you. The library is open 24/7 which is useful for night owls and has a ton of different style spaces inside so if you don't work well at a desk, you can try a bean bag or pod instead.

I love york, my lecturers are always ready to help. There's loads of facilities on site so you don't have to travel into town but if you do it's only a short bus journey away £2 for an open return. There's free buses that run around uni campus also which is really convenient.

Great campus which is always being renovated. On the downside, there’s always construction, but on the plus side we’re always given new study spaces or new places to eat, which is always useful.

I am studying chemistry and the facilities are incredible. The teaching staff are fantastic and always willing to help. The campus is beautiful and the city is a great distance away.
