The main campus in Talbot has a lot of facilities and has things to do other than the lectures. However the Lansdowne campus doesn't really feel like your at a university. There's nothing much to do other than attending the lectures.

My course in Animation is very informative with helpful tutors on hand for whatever you need whether it's a hand with work or aiding you in uni life as a whole. The student union works hard and is inclusive for everyone have a gender equality officer and an LGBT officer amoungst their staff. The only down sidw that I would say is when we have compulsory trip to places that are considered close by, and we have to make it their by ourselves, which can get expensive. Other than that I'm thoroughly enjoying my time here.

The uni is ok, there are quite a few good spaces for studying. My course is a bit of a shambles and feels quite unorganized sometimes and the academic support system could be improved.

The Talbot campus (where majority of courses have their lectures and seminars, excluding HSS courses which are located at the other smaller campus) has everything you wish for - catering, coffee shops, gym, GP, wellbeing service, Chaplaincy, careers service. They are currently building a new building mainly for Animation and Sound courses and expanding the library and another building. They are also expanding the other campus, making it more engaged with the students. The Student Union has a lot going on: 120 clubs and societies, volunteering, its own magazine, radio station & other media outlets, but not everything you can get involved in feels substatial, a lot of things are done superficially in my opinion. But they have great support systems for the students: from an advice service where they could guide you with any student life problem to a renting support service. The career service is ok. I would say they give out tons of support and that is their best quality.

The campus is split between 2 depending on your course, Lansdowne and Talbot. Talbot is the better campus and easiest to find your way around! So many facilities for a range of people, whether it be just a simple question or metal health issues the uni have you covered, there's even a doctor's on campus (talbolt). Student union are great they've won a bunch of awards for being one of the best, they always have events running and getting people involved in uni life! Over All a great uni, 10 out of 10 would recommend. Also great location, just a walk away from the beach.

Overall I've really liked the university I think it looks really nice and most of the teacher are really helpful and you can genuinely see that they want you to learn. Really happy I chose this uni!!

Bournemouth University is an amazing university with brilliant lecturers. The communication between the lecturers and the students is great as the feedback for assignments is timely and detailed as well as constructive. The social aspect of the university is excellent too, with very regular buses from one campus to another as well as from each campus to the centre of town where all the night life happens. There are often student deals around the town on drinks and food as well as many shops accepting student discount cards. The students at the university are generally very helpful and pleasant and the library facilities are outstanding. There haven't been many occasions whereby I need a book that is unavailable which has made my studies at Bournemouth University both productive and enjoyable. Thank you Bournemouth!

The course I'm on in very specific to me. I am finding the first year a bit slow to begin with, however I'm hoping once I start placement the work in lectures will become more relevant to me!

Some say it’s a small university with one campus but that’s what I love about AUB. It feels more friendly. My course is also structured really well and I see my tutors 3 times a week. The downside is that the societies and SU are quite poor and it does feel like a college. But there is another university next door if you want the typical university life.

Bournemouth University is an outstanding University for the basis of the warm welcoming atmosphere and encouragement received to succeed in life. The courses offered are varied to all people’s talents with opportunities in different practice areas and many forms of examination material. The facilities offered at the Lansdowne campus are suitable for professional development and further facilities are available at the Talbot campus. From my experience, I have gained a high level of support and been open to the opportunity of involving myself in many extracurricular activities, especially course-related. Overall, Bournemouth University has fulfilled my expectations and more. I’d recommend this university to anyone especially to healthcare professionals.

My first year completed at Bournemouth university, it was surprisingly relaxing. The first 6 months was just lectures and party’s, therefore when exams came it sunk into me that I wasn’t really learning. But it was the best year of my life also many more to come

BU is fab! Campus at talbot has great acomidating needs, nightlife is GREAT! (especially on a Wednesday at cameo) AUB and BU come together for nights out, clubs and societies so we get to mingle with one another which is great also. a really good sociable uni that I love being apart off!

The academic staff are usually of a high quality, having come from the industry in which you are studying towards, and the experience of the academic staffs own careers is apparent within the course structures and content. However, the administrative side of the university, is severely lacking in coordination and professionalism. There seems to be no drive for this to change either, the Dean of the University takes pay rises while the university itself drops in rankings. Its clear that the university is run more like a business than an educational institution, though if a business was repeatedly lowering its standards and quality, would the CEO gain more pay from this? No. After a few bad encounters with departments within the University, those who handle travel abroad apportubities and those who handle monetary issues, it become clear that there was no liklihood of improvement. The most annoying thing, it seemed, was that those who you would wish to complain about, are the only ones you can complain to, and with a "you can only dispute our decisions, not our decision making process" it seems a pitiless system. Good teaching standards, but even the academic staff suffer the same problems.

Small campus but great community. Bournemouth is a great city with a combination of culture, nightlife, beaches and good shops. The courses are well supported and well taught, although the administration and processes could be improved.

The campus is the smallest I’ve experienced so far but it also means you don’t have to rush between lectures. It’s a very laid back community but the downsides include how complicated admin processes can be.

The teaching can be quite bad along with the student union, enjoy it as I’ve got friends there though.

The university has a lot of promise and the teacuf facilities there are amazing! I would certainly recommend this university.

We have a great student union, our campus isn't exactly aesthetically appealing. Bournemouth universities nightlife isn't the best but there are a few decent clubs around. The lecturers and staff are helpful. An issue with the university is that it is overpopulated meaning not everyone can get a place in halls.

Such a good uni. It’s been the best 4 years of my life. Fantastic social life! The facilities need improving but this seems to be being done, it’s just a shame it’s happening now I’ve left.

BU is a solid uni, you have the resources and support to get the grades you want provided you put the work in, it’s a very interactive place, with lots of food and drinking options during the day, and a colourful campus. My course is finance and economics, I enjoy my course besides one or two modules, such as law and accounting, however the rest I enjoyed a lot.

Brilliant up and coming uni. Nice buildings and good sports facilities. Organisation could be better
