Bournemouth University is within a brilliant location to study in, with lots of working space and amenities on the main campus. The student union is excellent and has everything from a great SU bar and nightclub, to a well organised summer ball and great support services. The courses are well run most of the time, with only a few suggestions of improvement. However my course really stands out during the placement/ Sandwich year, which has been flexible and a really good experience for me.

Bournemouth university has lots of facilities to cater for uni students, with an amazing student union, hosting a variety of events. Very organised and has given me the best experience at uni :)

Bournemouth University campus is only going from strength to strength. With the still relatively new Fusion building at its heart, and the re-design of the entrance, Bournemouth oozes state-of-the-art, new, fresh and up and coming. The facilities are easily accessible and there is plenty to go around for everyone. The Careers Services are constantly available and the staff are always very helpful and guiding. Throughout my experience Bournemouth has always been very organised, leaving my day to day life stress-free (exam during the inescapable exam period) and more time for me to enjoy Bournemouth.

Bournemouth Uni is currently upgrading it's campus and it has gotten a lot better in terms of places to sit and study. The amount of places to eat has gone down however as there is no longer a Papa John's, and the only place to get an evening meal is at the uni bar, Dylan's. The new building currently under construction will provide more facilities for media students and new Television studios. Currently the University has two multi cam studios and one animation studio, as well as a news room.

The campus has new buildings made last year and I believe they are still developing, it is a modern looking campus. One a week for the whole year students have a workshop where you can recieve guidance with cvs, portfolios and cover letters but as it is a big class with one tutor it isn’t as helpful as id want it to be. Finding a placement was hard as you’d think the university has links to help all students obtain a placement quickly and easily. The library is huge ! There’s plenty of space around the campus to work and it’s open 24/7.

The campus is a close and friendly one, it's not very large however there is always new facilities being built such as the fusion building or the new bus station. My course is very engaging with friendly and helpful lecturers making it as interactive as possible. The student union is well ran and I would highly reccomend. Overall the whole university has a feel to it that is unexplainable and one of a kind

Careers services working more with the course. Some university buildings are great but some aren't very nice. Students union is great, could do with one in town too.

Arts university Bournemouth is a great uni, it’s small but well run and has amazing facilities, I would recommend to anyone who is looking to study an arts degree, the library sources are good as well as the technology that is available to use. The food facilities are also a great part, there’s a range of food and a shop that has great deals

The university has a good library with really helpful staff, and the new building has really changed the look of the campus. The Uni is a great place to study with lots of resources and places to get lunch. The Uni gym is cheap and good to use.

It’s a good university in general and provides lot of opportunities for academic development and advice concerning career possibilities. It really makes a conscious effort to improve itself (the university body as a whole) as well as its individual facilities and it’s nature (evaluating and improving its diversity).

Great university. Lecturers are really good. A lot of facilities and services available . Societies and clubs are great. Good atmosphere overall on campus. Everyone is friendly and the university culture is diverse.

Bournemouth university has a great compact main campus, but does have a second which is quite far away and could be annoying for anyone who has to use it, but luckily I don’t. The facilities are great and include the new fusion building, a new road to improve access and new buildings are currently being built. My course; Archaeology and Anthropology, has a good range of unit options, but sometimes is not the best organised course. The student union facilitated a large range of societies, but in general has had very little influence on my university experience. I have not had any interaction with the careers service.

I go to the Arts University, the courses are extremely interesting and we have all the facilities that we need which are a very high quality to produce really good work. Our student union are always working hard to do events and put things on for us at lunch time to get everyone involved. Everything is organised well and the campus is beautiful and very friendly.

As a university I feel that Bournemouth is able to easily hold itself as one of the most up and coming universities in the country. It’s media facilities are zero to none and uphold the right to be responsible for so many succesful Oscar nominations

Amazing Unversity! Always there for you if you need extra support. The new facilities such as the Fusion building are incredible and the campus really puts the students needs first.

Updating and building new buildings that the campus desperately needs. Could is surprisingly easy for a masters course I was expecting more of a challenge. Food is substandard, uninspiring and too expensive

Bournemouth uni has a lot of modern facilities and pushes students to strive. There’s always the odd lecturer that you don’t like but you’d get that anywhere. Plenty of library space, computers, books and resources online. It is generally run by really lovely staff who are helpful. Pub on campus alongside other places to eat or get food from for great prices. Overall the teaching is to a good standard and it’s very diverse, all lecturers have different tactics and the uni is good at trying to accommodate for all.

Good amount of cafes for caffeine addicts, bar on site with food, great atmosphere and decent prices. Clean, well-kept, easily accessible buildings. Whole campus is signed and easy to direct around. Food is good for meat-eaters, not amazing selection for vegans but they are working on it! Library is open until late for procrastinators and deadlines, open during holidays and half terms!

The Lansdowne campus doesn’t feel like a university one it’s different buildings and there’s no real sense of community.

Arts University Bournemouth has a wonderful campus, with a diverse student body. This university takes pride in being a green environment, promoting environmental awareness, which I love. Since being here, the student union have been receptive, and in general the university is open to change and progression with input from students. As a student on the photography course, there are a range of facilities available for us to use, and equipment to borrow. The tutors are friendly, and happy to provide 1:1 tutorials for students to us develop our projects. Some aspects of organisation could be better, but in general, we are quick to be updated on schedule changes, etc. The university also has counselling facilities, and good student support services. So far, my experience here has been great.
