I both highly rate and recommend the university, I think in terms of inclusion, experience and more they really do have it all down - the only complaint I would have to make is 1) the pace the university and the way they like to distribute work is very quick and small periods of time compared to others (I’m a transfer student) and 2) teacher to student representation

Everything is as expected, including the amazing law lecturers, the guidance and support provided by the department and the amazing atmosphere at university

The campus is almost right in town and as a commuter that is very easy due to transport facilities. The campus building has a lot of facilities available for commuters as well such as microwaves in the student union and a canteen that serves cheap but good food with several options. My course is extremely interesting and lectures are well organised and the tutors help you a lot.

My degree is a joint course between Kingston university and St. George's medical school. It is a great partnership that allows students to benefit from support from both faculties and facilities. The campus is new and tailored to the student experience. Within St. George's hospital is the only hospital worth a co located school for students.

Penrhyn Road Campus may not be as updates as Kingston Hill in terms of water and electricity saving facilities, however it is fairly easy to navigate around and very close to the riverside and Kingston’s town center. For my course Human Nutrition, the facilities are very numerous and I do feel I have lots of laboratory session to develop knowledge on universal lab procedures which is good for my CV. Support for anything, whether financial or health, is extremely useful and I’m very satisfied with Penrhyn’s support facilities. My main criticism is that I would prefer to have more time with personal tutors. There is always something going on, whether on campus or located elsewhere, and is very easy to see with all the posters.

My course at Kingston was a great choice for me. I’ve always struggled with large groups of people when trying to learning new things, as I am a visual learner and need to see things being practically demonstrated in front of me to fully understand them. Kingston’s campus at Nescot College has great facilities and the variety of courses available are fantastic!

Really nice campus. However was quite outdated. But they are building a new campus which looks amazing !! Some of the lectureses where great, really throw them selves into the topics where as others were boring & not really engaging, overall good uni.

School is wonderful but classes aren’t really well taught, mostly are just read off PowerPoints. The lecturers or professors rarely know how to take control of the room and first years don’t take the course seriously. Very little coursework which is both a pro and con. Not a massive support system and must pay to join a club or anything.

The specific things I've been asked to rate are things that are pretty normal about my university overall. We don't have spectacular lecture rooms or anything like that. But the lecturers are amazing, at least for English Language, they're enthusiastic about their subjects and they actually care. There also some standout lecturers in Creative Writing. Third year is amazing though it's a lot more work. But the one thing that's been consistent is the level of mental health support offered. I'd rather have good lecturers and my support needs met than be at some flashy campus.

I’ve loved my time at University. I study mechanical engineering which is amazing fun. We get the chance to be practical whenever possible which I personally thrive on. The facilities for and engineering student are fantastic, with the flight simulator being my personal favourite. The union is very active, and with a desk at each campus they’re very easy to get in touch with. If you’re not on campus they’re very good at replying to emails and the website is easy to navigate.

I am currently studying adult nursing, I’m in my second year. I enjoy the session a lot, I really appreciate that the lectures are up on prior to the session it gives us a head start. I do not enjoy commuting there sometimes the 85 take very long

I’ve really enjoyed my time at Kingston. I’ve made wonderful friends both in halls and on my course. I’m thoroughly enjoying my course more so than I expected to and the way in which it is taught is great.

Very informative information desks, active student union. Easy to make friends as there are so many people from different backgrounds present. campus facilitates to almost any need. Uni is always open. I study computer science so it’s mainly computer and theory based. Heavy assignments and stressful exams

University definitely needs more structure for courses as timetabling has been messy. Some lecturers are good but are not very enthusiastic which doesn’t really help students. The sudden changes to the faculty and the lack of notifying students is poor. Overall the course needs better structure and not much support available for students. One positive is the campus it’s a good environment to be in and better than the others.

Kingston is a great university for all those looking to study in London and to be close to home. It's facilities are great and very welcoming. The only downfall is some of the lecturers as they don't really become very specific when it comes to certain assignments or projects. There should be a much better relationship between students and their lecturers. The Penryhn Road Campus is also full of great places to go to, such as the restaurant inside the University also known as The Picton and the Starbucks Coffee section in the canteen. Kingston could make great improvements if they made designated smoking areas for students that smoke instead of telling them don't come here or don't go there and they could also improve timetable accuracy on their app and also have a map that is well more detailed for the new students.
