A very friendly university both in terms of teaching staff and building staff. Always willing to help you find your way round campus, and always taking your well being into account.

Great staff, enjoyable lectures. Could improve with student support I.e more 1 to 1's. Research is easy with good facilities

Great uni, and some really helpful and friendly people. I'm doing film studies and feel that the course offers a good variety of practical and theory. Also the uni allows you to lend out equipment to let you make your own films.

My first year of uni was a bit of a flop as I was studying events management and the course was in no way shape or form the level or calibre that would be expected of a university course. However, I changed to marketing and and ended up graduating with a first and received multiple awards. I received so much support and gratitude throughout my years there and built strong relationships with multiple tutors. Everyone here is so willing to help, whether that be personal, financial or educational support, there is always someone there to listen to you.

Good quality of teaching for the most part. The buildings are well equipped and not too far from each other. The libraries are fully equipped and a lot of space however they are always full and more private spaces would be good. Everything is always clean and constantly updated.

Amazing university! Loved my whole three years here, tutors have been superb the whole time with full support! Would highly recommend!

My course is brilliant! A plethora of field trips for no extra fee, a state of the art GIS suite, exceptional tutors who are willing to help with any issues. Not too much career advice as I'm a first year but still helped to begin the process of thinking of the future.

Wonderful University it has aims to provide the best quality education. A lot of the structure of topics are based outside learning so it puts your social skills to use. I would definitely recommend it for mature students, it has been beat accommodated for students with the passion.

Couldn't have asked for a better University from LJMU. An amazing Uni, great lecturers, great opportunities and all in a great city. If I had the chance i'd do it over and over again - i'm so sad for it to be over!

A great university that caters to all students. Facilities are top class and the help from lecturers is great. Close city centre proximity and amazing courses.

I studied Drama at LJMU. The course is well structured and the lecturers’ are all very helpful. Canvas is the university’s online platform where documents and module guides are uploaded. My main problem with Canvas is the fact that it is so new, it just doesn’t work! Most times my tutors would post the module guides but it failed to load so we couldn’t access it online! This feature needs to be improved!

Campus is good in city centre location near to all halls and shops and clubs. Teaching is of the quality you would expect, often just prepared powerpoints but does include all information required.

For a university, you cannot go wrong with this choice. I feel the teaching and tutors are excellent and really passionate in their work and want you to do he best you can. The university is in an excellent location, perfect for students. Facilities are good but not the best but good enough. And there is a Starbucks too!

The univeristy has brilliant up to date facilities and a wide range of books in the three libaries at LJMU. The staff are brilliant and really helpful, the tutors have a vast amount of knowledge and offer broad understanding of the modules we look at.

Great university, struggles sometimes with help for students with family problems etc. Could improve communication with students in order to maintain happiness within the university.

Very good time, the uni is great but the city is even better. Liverpool nightlife is mega and the chicken shops are something else. Really enjoyed my course, didn’t join any sports teams but I’ve heard they’re very good and offer a lot of fun. Definitely consider LJMU. Uni halls are also top quality from what I’ve seen during my time there.

LJMU has really good library services with numerous buildings dotted around the city. The careers team is knowledgeable and very helpful, the lectures listen to students and try to improve the way they teach to most benefit the students.

Good university, social side is lacking as there’s no social union and the campus isn’t the prettiest but good for education

The personal tutors are great and support the students how ever I seem to find the career zone and student engagement useless and it helpful
