This uni is fantastic it offer great courses and has a great range of up to date equipment that is needed. The library facilities are amazing with all the books that are on reading list and more.

I really enjoy the uni. The nightlife and social side is great and I think the housing is a good social area in second year as everyone lives close to each other.

Liverpool John Moores is a great uni, and has great opportunities for placements and volunteering opportunities.

John Moores university is a great place to learn and all facilities are great and all teachers make it easy to access work through lectures and on the canvas app

The adult nursing course is well laid out and there is great support from tutors. There could be more class, however, you learn that much on placement you don’t really need more classes.

The campus is very clean and well designed, the buildings are close by and located near the student accommodation. However the John foster building is old and hard to navigate, the toilets are small and the whole building is freezing cold. Marketing as a course has been enjoyable but unorganised and hard to catch up on, I find it confusing to catch up on any missed work and the lecturers are not great at replying. The students union is tiny and has very little facilities, there is no student bar!! My experience hasn't been great so far as I've been very homesick and actually wanted to change uni's throughout. But in such a vibrant city I'm sure I'll yet find my place!!

I really like where my university is situated. My campus (Mount Pleasant) is in the center of where I live and town and is easy to get to. The buildings are always clean especially Redmonds. My course is quite good however some lecturers are a bit boring and make me not like a module. Careers services are lovely and are always there to help when you’re concerned.

There are three ljmu campuses and the one I am in is definitely the better one! There are lots of activities you could get involved in, such as campus reps to judo or dance etc. The student union organises events for us to take part and often give out freebies- who can say no to that?! I definitely had fun at ljmu but there is a lack of feeling like you are part of the whole uni when the campuses are so far apart. There's no feeling of a community within the uni. It's not really noticeable when you are with your friends but it is an issue. The library tends to be full most of the time so finding a computer or laptop can take a while. Overall, ljmu is amazing especially when it's located by city centre and several student accommodations.

John Moores is a fantastic university to be at, the staff are committed and passionate about their subjects, library services are modern and sleek, campus is in a good location for where I live and overall it’s just a really nice atmosphere to experience

My course is great, I do graphic design and really enjoy the tasks. Our facilities for designers are top quality and we have all the equipment necessary to produce high quality artwork and designs, we are also taught about the industry and learn about things that will benefit us in our later careers, there are also lots of opportunities for placements and experience, as well as talks from visiting lecturers, like big promiment designers and artists.

Great uni met some good people and have made friends for life

Ljmu is a laid back, fun place to be a part of, with lots of events and easy to access campuses.. Only draw back is a lack of an SU hangout area, at the moment it’s basically just a computer room.. but once they get one like the old one they’ll be a 5 star uni!

Well organised and considerate. Full of energetic and enthusiastic lecturers that make each individual understand their full potential. Unfortunately not 5 stars as there are some lecturers that just shouldn't be there.

The facilities in all buildings I’ve visited are exceptional the newest they could be. My accounting and finance course is very good and is even highly respected and wanted by other universities as we have a high graduate job placement. Don’t really have much to do with the student union but they always send emails telling us about the new thing. Again I haven’t used the career services but there is one which is better than nothing. My course does an employability module which is very useful as it gives you knowledge into what to expect while applying for jobs.

Really nice buildings especially the new social spaces in john foster and redmonds! Often get emails with great opportunities as well as good safety emails i.e internet safety and personal safety. The mount pleasant campus is all really close together and in a really good spot. IT facilities are really good and I have personally used the help options and responses are really quick. I feel like the student union could be a bit more visible, would be really good if we could have a student union bar! Would be great to meet coursemates or just people from the uni in general. I do criminology and it would be really good if social sciences could have a formal because there hasn't been any at all. Have had barely any career help with my course, and although the uni doesn't offer placement opportunities, it would be good to provide info on places we could go to or look into about sorting out a short term summer placement.

The course wasn't at all what I was expecting. Some tutors are pretty manipulative in regards to the kind of work that you produce. The lack of organisation is astonishing. The building itself is fairly good, there are some excellent facilities however there are no supplies provided and they're extremely expensive. Some of the lecturers and tutors are fantastic, the members of staff are brilliant in the cafe area.
