Queen Mary is part of the University of London but has its roots in four historic colleges: Queen Mary College, Westfield College, St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College and the London Hospital Medical College. It is primarily based in the Mile End area of Tower Hamlets.
The University boasts the largest self-contained student campus within central London, located close to a large number of landmarks and noteworthy sites. The central site contains cafes, a bar, restaurants, a gym, a student shop, a bookshop and more.
Given its location in the heart of London, there's no shortage of places for students to explore. On campus, there are over 200 societies, 60 sports clubs and a variety of media outlets. A student volunteering group, Provide, offers numerous opportunities to students to help them find causes they care about and develop their skills.
Good university and so many clubs and societies. Makes the most of the opportunities and you will definitely have a great experience.
It is a great university to study at with great facilities and an excellent library with the resources you require. However, Student services aren't the best as they aren't much help if you're in need of help.
