Good university and so many clubs and societies. Makes the most of the opportunities and you will definitely have a great experience.
It is a great university to study at with great facilities and an excellent library with the resources you require. However, Student services aren't the best as they aren't much help if you're in need of help.
Excellent! Always had a great time, SU staff are lovely - career facilities are great to help you get set for the future
Queen mary is the only university in london which has a campus. You can find all your facitilities on campus and a thriving student population. Everything is close by in the area, with a variety of shops.
QMUL has many things about it that stand out from other universities in London, namely its Campus. Although a strong point, a lot of the buildings including that of the Law building could do with a refresh or a clean lick of paint. The law course that I’m studying is both engaging and challenging whilst all the meanwhile creating an environment that encourages you to succeed.
I am doing a masters course in Artificial Intelligence which has been organised very well and has given me the necessary tools I need for work. QMUL has provided good facilities, particularly computers and access to GPUs, which has helped me massively.
The course sometimes appears to be slightly unorganised - some lecturers aren’t very approachable and patient whereas some are the complete opposite. The SU is great and provides good services for students.
What you would expect from a city campus university, everything is close together and very easy to get familiar with the campus. The surrounding area, Mile End, is full of restaurants and fast food places and there's something for everyone. I can speak for the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, and can recommend the Computer Science course to any prospective student. Overall the course is well taught and a reasonable difficulty.
It's a nice uni in a bad area. The short walking distances to nearby grocery stores and chicken shops make staying healthy very hard! However, while actual good professors are rare, the teaching is at least average for my case. The area can be a bit dangerous at night, but the campus experience more than makes up for it.
A great experience in the heart of East London. Love the fact we had our own campus and didn't have to necessarily integrate into the East London ugliness.
It's a very diverse campus with lots of wholesome people. I like it quite a lot since the campus is all in one place instead of spread out across the city, but the facilities could be updated a bit. As well as provide even more study spaces for students since we're all on one campus.
Great uni. Greater experience. Although the location isn't the greatest, the teaching and social life makes up for it
An inclusive university with excellent pastoral care, the university makes everyone feel as though they belong. The campus has a lovely coffee shop 'Ground' which is a nice place to hang out or get some work done.
There are plenty of facilities available for post grad students and the overall attended course is well taught. Concepts and ideas are well explained by professors with great achievements
Great facilities and large campus. Many different activities and socities to join and socialise. Poor academic organisation and student support in some cases.
Good uni, teacher's provide maximum support for the students and a easy campus to move around. Also the student union is very very helpful with a major support. Parking is also good. Ive had a great experience so far and this is the same for my other colleagues and students I like I hope the rest of my study at Queen Mary University will finish the same way it started in addition the introduction to my course was extremely thorough and well introduced with the lecturers and students getting to know each other through a social drink that was organised VR the lecturers
The personal support for students is great, I was going through a rough patch and they helped me out even thought I was asking for help to drop out and find an uni and course I actually liked. Everything looks great, the lecture halls are very spatious, very dynamic university. The library is spectacular and the gender neutral toilets are ahead of their time. However they have a quite bad student records department that almost made me lose my student loan and caused me months of financial and educational difficulty. And they will not apologise for that.
IT is extremely good university. The teaching is awesome and he facilities are amazing. The enviroment seem a bit dodgey but other than that, quality of respect is high. There are many activities you can do. It is close to a lot of places.
Friendly nature around the campus, big campus with a lot of different facilities - good laboratory areas, big library and common rooms to sit in and work etc. Good fitness facilities also available on campus. Online facilities are very good - lecture slides and recordings available online as well as access to multiple different databases such as PubMed and journals online in order to enable students to complete homework and carry out further research - this can be accessed on campus as well as at home. Students union and societies are good at allowing students to meet new people, many activities put on suitable for multiple people with different interests.
The campus is decent as it's in London so not very large however very easy to navigate through. We have a Jewish graveyard in the middle too! The campus facilities are okay but needs improvement like they have recently introduced borrowing laptops and lockers etc. It's a heaven for halal food though as on the left and right of university there's several good restaurants and we never run out of options. As for my course it's chemical engineering since we are the first ever people doing it it's not very organised. They are new professors and we have to struggle everyday to ensure we get the best. I like my modules for second year and am enjoying them. They are focusing with the course very much that we can survive in industry after uni. Career service and student union is decent.
Qmul gives students all the opportunities and help they need for their future career and encourage students to try new experiences.
It is good University to study and enjoy. Lecture are extremely good and help you in every steps. Careers council and student Unions are very helpful
Decent university - Low tier Russle Group but Russle Group nonetheless. Drapers is lit and it's on campus. I honestly believe this is the best London uni in terms of campus and student life.
Study dentistry, facilities and staff are supportive and Amazing. Currently on my second year of the course. The building is new. The curriculum is broken down in an organized fashion. It is easy to know what needs to be done etc. constant training is done to ensure we develop our skills
