Overall, MPH 322 is a really tough module as there are so much to learn and study. However, I really enjoyed doing the module as the diseases that we were taught are extremely interesting and fascinating. Examples are mental diseases such as schizophrenia, depression, epilepsy and musculo-skeletal disorders such as arthritis, gout and many more. The delivery of lectures and teachings were great as the materials given for students to study were sufficient and informative although more personal researches is recommended as it is always beneficial. Also, we have classes such as therapeutics seminars, practice etc to further increase the knowledge on some of the main diseases taught during lectures. Assessments for this module includes OSCE exam, Numeracy, presentation of certain allocated cases related to the diseases taught and final paper. I It may seems intense but how the module was carried out was very helpful for the students in terms of helping them to further understand the diseases taught through smaller group classes and the assessed presentations encouraged students to do further research on the content taught in the module.

The content of this module includes applying the holistic knowledge that we have learnt throughout our four years and although straightforward, clinical issues that may arise during these 'practices' are never predictable in reality. I feel the UoS has prepared us well to handle realistic circumstance in a healthcare setting.

Taught over two semesters, the course is very broad and incredibly interesting. There is a heavy work load but this comes in very handy for assignments and exams.

the beginning when we are looking at the different choreographers, this could be done in a lot less time. and i think making it a lot more relevant if we were to have to write up this infomation that we did in the session and hard that in as part of the course maybe 20% and then the essay 30/35% and then the performance is 50/45%. this would make the weeks mean more.

This modules is by far the most flexible of all the modules it allows you to follow what you feel is best suited you yourself. You can work outside the university with companies to put in a show or work in a small group of your friends to create a performance and if you are more interested in the back stage area of performing arts then there is a way for you to mold the module around yourself. The support is great with this module and the tutors are as excited as you are about your project.

This module is very subjective depending on which tutor you have and what topic you will be getting. You do not get a choice in area of study for your Masters project which I think is ridiculous. It's only 20 credits but you do have to write 8,000 words which is much easier when you enjoy what you're doing. I'm really lucky I have an incredibly supportive tutor and I'm doing something I'm interested in. Others are not so lucky and the support from different staff varies, there is no consistency.

The level of teaching is very high as the lecturer is a professor. The provision of teaching is excellent as it covers interesting topics, such as the history of punishment. The lectures bombards the students with information, but seminars are used for constructive learning and allowing us to figure out what the lecturer meant. I like that the students are left to discuss the questions and so on then discuss with the lecturer. It is enjoyable.

Being at a smaller university really benefits the students, most tutors have an open door policy and a lot of time for their students.

The course content has given me a lot of new and varied knowledge, and I feel that it has prepared me for my future career. However, I had hoped that I would have more module options to choose from to further personalise my learning. Some things I wish could be improved would be the length of time it takes to receive feedback on assignments and the quality of resources such as the computer facilities.
