University was not great. The lecturers would just read things of a slide. No one supported you. Literally every man for himself

DMU is a vibrant university which has always plenty of live on campus. There is always things to do and things going on, the staff are all really friendly and helpful and there's always help there when needed.

Amazing campus, all the buildings are so professional and such a friendly community. Everything is very well organised and can be made up to its highest standards with any help and support you need. Overall I am very happy with my chosen uni!

Speech and Language Therapy is a very intense but rewarding course. The practical elements such as placement really allow you to see progress.

the Lecturers are brilliant and are always willing to give help and guidance. The facilities are always accessible (the library and online files). I believe the course needs to be changed to include more about psychology but overall rate it brilliant

The course should be more organised and the tutors for MA English language teaching should improve how they assign the assessement. It is a bit mess up and cause a lot of problems.

Seems just like any other uni really. I’m in gateway, comp sci, always getting e-mails to attend betterment opportunities. They seem like they actually want to help you

DMU has come along way in the three years I have attended, we have built strong partnerships with the community through volunteering and instilling important values that guide students on their path. It has given me the opportunity to travel to India and teach in the Ashrams- work on myself as a workshop facilitator and be able to explore a new culture.

It's an okay university. Not for the best, nor the brightest. Seems more like a uni for mucking around, getting wasted and partying. Most of the staff seem to care about the students and the work is readily available. City is quite small though so not much variety in what to do socially apart from eating out or clubbing.

The facilities of this uni is good. Also the lectures halls and overall experience. Freshers week is also good

The canpus is literally about 5 kins walk from the city centre which is great. There are many facilities for students such as the new library etc. Since the first day everyone made us feel very welcome.

Facilities are great and support and opportunities are incredible until you hit 3rd year. Then it's like nope you 3rd years dont matter we dont care. There are incredible volunteering and travel opportunities to Hong Kong, New York, Qatar etc. Some good working spaces but not many and requires more attention to study and computer spaces than pretty new buildings which dont have much study areas. Great location though and great sources of entertainment as its right near city centre. A large variety of cuisines available at and around university and located near the rugby stadium and king power stadium which means access to sports as well.

Campus is nice, student union could be better and inclusive. Course can be better in terms of timetabled sessions, and help provided.

The uni life there is mad but when it comes to the lectures I think they are pretty good they help you with work and explain if you finding the lecture difficult by booking meeting with them.

I enjoy my time at de Montfort university in Leicester and being in a routine. I think the campus is nice enough and enjoyable to be within, with lots of facilities. I study fashion buying and marketing, I have a passion for it and do enjoy assignments such as blog posts and comp shop reports.. although, I do feel the teaching isn’t as great as I expected and a lot of the lectures I attend are pointless. I have discussed this with others and they feel exactly the same. Over all I enjoy being at uni although feel a higher degree of teaching should be given!

As a first-year student, I am excited about everything, mostly about multicultural of university and way they teach us because is really friendly and professional. Everyone can feel very welcome and find help in any case that they need it. Moreover, there is a lot of opportunities to trips, study places and careers after degree. One thing I don't like about it is a timetable, which changes every week, so you are not able to plan anything at all, but otherwise is great too!

Dmu offer a wide range of opportunities for its students. I have travelled to Paris and New York with the university and only had to pay minimal costs as the uni offer each student a yearly bursary for Dmuglobal trips.

Everyone is so helpful and enthusiastic about their job! When I very first went to the open day I was stunned with how beautiful the campus was, I just wanted to go straight back! I still love the campus even now I am used to it, and the enthusiasm and opportunities has been amazing!

Amazing university, I have loved every minute of my 3 years here and will be extremely sad to leave in the next month. Amazing facilities, particularly the library. The renovation of campus has also greatly improved the university, only down side is that it took so long - was scheduled to be finished at the end of my first year- was actually finished beginning of my third. Student life on campus is great, overall couldn’t ask for anything better.

Very good facilities, however there are not many events to involve everyone, just to reach those in societies. Good teaching.

Amazingly well renovated campus, library service open 24/7, staff are attentive, the campus is all in one area too so it's easily accessible.

The university lives up to its Expectations! One of the best things I ever did choosing to come to De Montfort University! The atmosphere and people are welcome, making every day there better.

i like the layout of the campus, the building i study in (clephan building) some lecture theatres/bathrooms look a little outdated and some seminar rooms are small. the university is helpful with any issue i have had although i havent used quite a few facilities at this time.
