The campus is good and the staff are very helpful. There’s a warm welcome feeling when walking into campus and the lecturers are well prepared for the seminar and lecture classes.

My university experiences thus far have been amazing. I have learned and experienced so many new things in such a short period of time, and it has gone by so fast. I am still discovering all the opportunities that university offers me. London Metropolitan is a very welcoming place, and from the first day, I felt at home here. I have made many new friends from many different backgrounds. My classes are great and I enjoy every one of them, especially Offender Profiling. The depth and detail of what we are leaning is far beyond my undergraduate experience. It is just amazing to think that even the tiniest details on the of a crime scene can have such a huge impact. My Sexual Violence lectures are also interesting. It made me realize how much sexually related crimes occur daily however they are not given the attention they need to het. That is probably the best part of university. It introduces so many new concepts that changes our view of the world. The course load is intense, so time management is key. As for extracurricular activities, I am part of the Afro Caribean Society. Another thing a really enjoy is going to the gym. I try to go at least three times a week. Time has been flying by and it’s hard to believe that we have been doing my post graduate degree for two years already. Life at London Metropolitan is a great experience that I plan to make the most out of.

Great facilities and new look vuilidibg adds real character to the site. Great for international and older students to learn in a fun enviroment. The library is state of the art and its located 15 mins away from central London.

I’m doing my foundation degree on art and design. It’s located close to centre which make you enjoy your school life. I do like tutors who are really helpful and produce a productive conversation. However I’m a bit disappointed with their facilities as the desks are not clean and machines looks quite old. You may need to think more if any of you applicants. Cheers

I completed my BA in creative writing at London Metropolitan university and although I consider the three years of my course some of the best years of my life, the university itself could have used a few more perks that I am now realising (doing an MA somewhere else) other universities have. First of all, a more prominent and effective career service centre. More involvement from Year 1 in checking students’ CVs and helping them look for jobs and to apply. A few more networking events during enhancement week would have been nice - most of those organised barely related to the subject of literature (e.g. talks from alumni, literary agents panels etc). But the annual anthology was an amazing opportunity for us students to showcase our work.

London metropolitan university has a thriving community of diversity! I study theatre and performance practice and before I came to study, I never throughly once about the people I would meet and eventually call my best friends! I have made friends with so many people from so many different parts of the world - their way of seeing things is not my way and that in itself is beautiful, because you never know what they are capable of, and they help you to exceed your limits ever single day. The facilities at London Met are growing every day for the theatre department. Recently we have just had a new building open as part of the recovery from a fire 6 months ago. The community at London Met is second to none, everyone works to include and inspire each other and that is truly the most wonderful thing about studying there.

The campus itself is of a good size, with many places to sit and socialise and to grab food. However, there are also places you can go to get away and focus on work, so there is a good balance between the two. It can be difficult to navigate yourself around the campus at the beginning but you pick it up very quickly. The facilities inside the campus are pretty good, there is a costa and a few little cafe's inside with a courtyard for socialising outside. The classrooms are of a decent size for the most part and enable everyone to see the lecturer without struggling. The rooms can be a little cold at times but it's bearable. The students union is a great place to hang out, with a bar, pool tables, and music, it makes a great place to socialise and relax after lectures or for pre-drinks on a night out.

GREAT UNIVERSITY, an amazing place to study... high percentage of mature students ready to learn. THE MOST IMPORTANT IS THE SUPPORT YOU GET! HELP IS HERE! AND HERE IS HOPE FOR A BETTER FUTURE THROUGH EDUCATION!!! People need to realise that the key is EDUCATION and DEDICATION! Aim higher reach higher!!!

I have truly loved my time at London metropolitan university and I haven't really found any reason to complain about my choice of Uni. Studying arts and being creative every day isn't always easy and it can get very frustrating sometimes but at London met we have an amazing selection of teachers who truly are interested in you and your work. They give you advice, tell you to take a breather when you obviously need one and help you improve yourself. The lessons we have change, we learn new things all the time and we are also given project to do in bigger scale that actually make us feel like professionals. There is s a lot of moving around going on with the campus's but the idea of one big campus in the future doesn't sound like a bad idea so you put up with it. What I also love about London Met is that it takes care of it's students. You have problems with anything, money, housing or mental health, you have a place to go where those issues can be taken care of with professional help. You really feel like the money you pay for the degree isn't going to waste.

I've been a student at London Met for over a month now, and my experience so far has been great. The lecturers teaching my course are very helpful, and it easy to get in contact with them whenever I'm not sure of something. The resources available, e.g. the library and the student website provides me with everything I need to complete my coursework and prepare for any exams. I recently sat my first exam and managed to do well thanks to my lecturers and my careers adviser who gave me some pointers on how to revise effectively and my lecturer for this specific module I sat an exam on gave us suggestion on topic to revise. Although I have not attended this university that long, so far I'm happy with my decision to attend London Met.
