Course - medicine. Well taught with good contact time and small year group for teaching. Varied across the years of study

A city university where everything is close by (except St Hugh's), Oxford has high expectations of its students but does its best to provide welfare and support when things inevitably go wrong. Lots of cool kebab vans.

It’s exciting to be able to work with such expert staff. They really do care about their students’ learning.

Very nice campus. The facilities are adequate. Never been to the union. The university is a lovely place to come and meet new people

The university itself is absolutely gorgeous. The buildings are beautiful and Oxford as a city is a lovely place to study. The university is making a concerted effort to appeal to more state school students (as one myself I have never experienced any form of discrimination from the university or any other students, and in fact went to a free summer school for state school students prior to my application). The LGBTQ scene is fantastic also. The only negatives are the sports facilities are located a little out of the main city which makes them not incredibly accessible to many. However, the rowing facilities are fantastic.

Opportunity to be taught be world class academics but slow to embrace new technology in learning. Sports facilities are ok but could definitely be better.

Oxford is such a beautiful city. The people here are very friendly and not like the stereotypes at all (or at least very rarely). The tutors are knowledgable and passionate about their subject and I love studying here

Really happy with university, beautiful and welcoming place to study. Workload is intense but it helps enormously to have a friendly community. Libraries are incredible. Lecture theatres for humanities should have desks though?!

Can't fault the architecture or the fantastic upholding of traditions. Can fault the number of tourists (don't come here if you don't like crowds!). £9250 leaves a sour taste in anyone's mouth and I think there is always something to be desired in teaching and curriculum, but Oxford has a good broad curriculum and very well established academics as tutors.
