I study BA photography, the lecturers are extremely helpful. We have great facilities on campus which we are allowed to use. We even get to rent some of the equipment and take them home etc. We regularly have career fairs which is great for us students. Overall I really enjoy learning in this university.

The university is in a nice location and is a new building however the staff and lectures only care about the money, there was not cub care for the individual students. I have additional learning needs and the lectures did not care to help me or help provide me with support.

University has opened my mind a lot. My course was the best choice ever. All of the leaders of the course are really passionate about their subject and helpful a lot. The campus at itself is really new and updated with all of the facilities.

The main campus is rather small for a university however it was previously named a college. However the lecture rooms are nice, the larger lecture rooms cannot hold an entire module however and people would have to sit on the steps. The course culinary arts management is well taught and the teachers have real interest for the subject. They are also extremely helpful. The teachers are also very adaptable to specific needs of each student in the module. I am unsure with the career services aspect as I have not tried it out. There are however many job opportunities that are posted and career events available to attend.

Student Union was voted best in the country but in term of putting on events they don’t know what students want. They produce market research but don’t listen to the feedback. My course - only in two days a week it’s all independent study which is ok but don’t feel it’s £9,000 a year worth. My course is a creative degree and one of my lecturers downgrades me because of his personal creative opinions.

My degree is facilitated by this university. The resources and facilities at this university are fantastic, library is modern and well stocked, unions are accessible too.

Student union is very good, very active in the university, staff are helpful. Overall my whole experience at UWL has been very good. The campus has most things on site which makes it easier.

Facilities and library to a high standard now that it’s been re-done. Everything else looks better than it actually is. I’ve never attended any night life - it’s not like other university’s, you come do work and leave, there trying to improve social groups but most of the university gets missed out, the canteen takes every penny of student loan because it’s so bloody expensive. The teaching staff are either a good level or bottom of the barrel, everyone marks differently and mostly depends on if the lecturer likes you or not, honestly wouldn’t attend this university a second time, it’s not in central London but the price is the same, my expectations where high for the £9,000 a year it’s cost me but nothing has been up to par, all shiney on the outside but hollow inside.

Student union food and drinks could be improved drinks could’ve cheaper like other unis. Needs a better gym and more chairs near the canteens. No where to sit during lunch time

Though technically under UWL, actually study in Coventry at Nexus ICA. Fantastic place, great people, great staff that always have time for the students. Good facilities that are available for the students to use.

Personally I did not have the luxury of going to UWL for an open day before attending I depended heavily on the recruitment team from the international office and from everything that they did for me I am quite pleased with my choice of university. Even though our uni is not huge it not small either but for me it has given me the homily feeling that I wanted in. I think my university tries very hard in most areas and I am happy to be a part of an institution that tries,

The campus is beautiful, all the facilities have been recently restored, library works 24/7 and has so many resources. Foodwise, there are so many options, a restaurant, canteen, bar, Starbucks coffee. Students union has a number 1 rank in the UK. I think I made the best choice.

The university is good, the facilities arent amazing but the lecturers are amazing, they could improve their organisation they are very unorganised. They don’t have the best support in reading as the main campus is in London and a lot of the staff that are for students with disabilities are in London and will only have phone appointments not come to reading and expect you to go to London, which I can’t afford a lot of the time as I’m in placements as I’m doing nursing and have to work in between. There isn’t a great student atmosphere but that is changing as the student union are developing and organising nights out around reading for students.

It is one of the most modern university in London I ever seen. It is a massive place with lots of activities for students as library, heart, restaurant, gym, halls, disco, theatre, bar, coffee bar, parking and more. You could study everything in there and enjoying it

After many long hours spent looking for the right business course to study at university, I found business studies with entrepreneurship. I thoroughly enjoy this course & it was a good decision! The lecturers and teachers are professional and very helpful, and every class i feel like I learn more and more. The assessments set are accurate and the support provided by the lecturers to help complete the assessments is very helpful.the careers service is also good. We have regular career fairs and students are encouraged to go to the careers department to have their CV checked free of charge!

Very nice campus modern features and excellent library, the SU lacks in places and the courses are not very organised or structured and lectures are not very good. However nice location in Ealing London close to the city only 20 minutes away on the central line and have the opportunity to soak up the culture of London.
