It’s a great university, the staff are aiming to help you do well and help you achieve, the facilities for the courses are well kept and up to date and allowing the best education. It’s really under rated and deserves to be more well known. The student union do a good job, however there isn’t much space for any societies that do form to be able to have meetings and events. The student bar/ cafe however has very friendly staff and atmosphere and is a great place to sit and do whatever you want. The library facilities are better than at any university I have visited!

The university lecturers for the life sciences department are generally really good, supportive, very knowledgeable and caring towards their students. However their administration staff are crap and cause major delays with our exam timetables and they do not care at all about the students.

My first year so far has been productive and I have learnt many transferable skills to my profession. I have made some new friends and have realised that I have more potential than I first thought I did. The uni offers Go Global as a way of enhancing your CV and able to meet other students from different backgrounds which helps communication. The course tailors to the Health and Social care sector and gives us real life situations that we could face when working. I like the fact that the lecturers have experienced working in health and social care themselves and can relate to what they are talking about. Least favourite thing is the lack of communication when it comes to lecturers not turning up to sessions such as PAL. Facilities They are extremely good at providing students with adequate areas to study, cafes, canteens, a gym, and pray area. Student support The tutors are very supportive, answer questions when needed and able to breakdown assignments that can sound complicated at first. City City life is good, plenty to do and to see. Relatively good night life, if not within Bedford within the surrounding towns such as Milton Keynes Sports teams lots of sports teams and societies available, all very welcoming. Could do with slightly more support at the start of the year from the Student Union, in regards to setting up and ways in which to get people involved and promoting the team Student support The support offered by the university is amazing, they have so many different ways of helping out. All the staff are informed of the support available for students, and academic staff give their time to support both academically and on a personal level to their best abilities. Feedback however can be incomplete or insufficient, and there are some lecturers who when giving feedback give inconsistent advice to different students Union The union is very good cheap drinks and lots of atmosphere peoples sesh their hard

Lecturers are very helpful and willing to take time out to assist you. Facilities are good, the library caters for all people with different learning techniques.

If you are looking for an accessible University that considers experience and not just academic profile for admissions then I’d recommend considering Beds. It’s tutution fees are also amongst the cheapest for post grad courses than I found across the UK.

Campus is somewhat good-looking. Library is the best thing you can find at this university, but I find most lecturers are incompetent at what they are teaching. At least on my course it's true. There are lots of situations where students have to correct lecturers.

Great uni, lectures are very helpful and very interactive. The library has all the reasourses needed to help complete an assignment

The campus was quite nice and the events from freshers were great but the overall quality of work and teaching at the uni was very below standard from a few lecturers in particular. Glad to be finished there and not have to return

Great little university where it feels like you know everyone on campus. It has good library facilities and good social places where you can hang out during the day. Accommodation can be a little pricey, but it is nice for university accommodation. Night life isn’t too bad, better when you’re in a sports team as you can get discounted access to the clubs and have great fun with your team for reasonable prices. Would recommend this uni!

University of Bedfordshire is one of the most modern ones in the UK and it's still expanding into building new facilities. The best part of this University is library which is open 24/7h.

Great university for sport courses, brilliant lecturers and facilities. Various campuses that offer a wide variety of courses ranging from nursing to business. The sports teams are organised by the Student Union and are very fun to be a part of.

I think that the university is amazing especially when it comes to support. If you ever need help with be it university work or anything you can be rest assured that there’s always going to be someone that can help you. The lecturers too are quite good and nice.

I really enjoy my campus because it is very easy to get to places as directions are clear from how to get from another place to another. People are very helpful and you can ask anyone for help and they will direct you how to get there. The best thing about Bedfordshire university is they library. It have a huge library which have quiet areas and rooms where you can book if you want to work in group. I really enjoy my coude as my tutors are very helpful and always there to help you with anything you misunderstand in lectures. Also if you need help with anything reguide the unit.

The university overall is below average.Facilities though they are equipped with necessary equipment it never works properly and i always had to find another ways to do my assignments.UNRELIABLE.The course i am taking is so badly coordinated it just destroy my passion to learn.I am taking a games developement course but 90% of my lecturers have no background in making games they just happen to know bits about how to make them.Second year has been worse than first not as difficulty though. It was easier to pass to be honest.Half of the year we didnt evem make any games....They changed the unit lengths to 2 units per semester but the course work is the same which means the pressure is double for us.Dissapointed.

I study on the Luton campus and the university is quiet easy to get the hang of once you know where your going. They have many many societies for students to sign up for and freshers week helped me a lot with signing up to a bank, G.P etc.

Since attending university of Bedfordshire, I have experienced a lot of learning and new things. The campus at first was quite complicated to figure out and understand however, slowly but gradually I’ve been getting used to getting around! I love especially how close it is to town, easy for me to grab some lunch. only down fall for me is how the parking is quite espensive. The facilities I guess are good howveebr I hardly use it, I barely go or use he library so I’m not really sure how to use it properly. I actually really enjoy my course, most of the teachers make the subjects interesting. Whilst doing assignments I’ve realised the reashearch I’ve been making is actually helping my learning and understanding of the course which I like. Some of the teachers have been easy to talk to and some of them are just hard to get help from. Whilst coming to uni, as I don’t live in Luton, I’ve made new friends from here which has made my experience more enjoyable. Overall, I have so far enjoyed my experience so far and I hope I continue to feel that way. If I was to change anything about the uni, it would be that help was easier to access especially from teachers. Also, one big problem I have is how when I was calling SID I call over 4 times and every time they picked up and hung up on me which reallygot on my nerves as I was trying to do my assignment and get into breo. This is not the first time it has happened so because of this, it has lessened the rating of my experience.

Teachers are lovely, but just don’t explain work very well. The feedback on assessments are poor and the people at the university are not nice whatsoever.

Nice modern campus close to everything. Needs work on out of hours access. Really good lecturers to help you engage with the topics being discussed.

The university has a library with a wide range of books which I found very useful through the duration of my animal management foundation degree course. The course which I'm doing is based at shuttleworth however it is run through UoB.

The Bedford campus has a nice layout, with 3 cafes, lots of social space, nice classrooms in the gateway building They do often have issues with the heating for about a month I was struggling to go in to lectures because of knowing how cold the room would be it would make it very difficult to concentrate on the topic rather than how cold we all were. I find that we don’t know our exam dates until quite late on especially compared to other universities. I was contacted before Christmas by my “tutor” saying we would meet after Christmas break, found out in February after not hearing from her again that she quit but I wasn’t told or appointed a tutor a i mean always unclear who to contact which a query which is why I turn to the course coordinator who is always very helpful

I have learnt a lot from the university but I had one issue with one teacher who seems to no enjoy teaching. Other than that I enjoyed everything else.

The facilities are decent the campus is small , the careers services Is good , the student information desk is helpful, the course is unorganised in general , some lectures are unengaging & 1 lecturer smells.

One of the good university in the UK. All facilities and amenities are available near the university. Great career and employment opportunities. The university has people from all corner of the world. Many internships are available in the UK and Europe. My whole experience in this university has been worth.

the campus has been improved greatly in my three years there, including a new library with helpful resources. social studies is a wel run course with a helpful staff faculty. not had much contact with the student union however they did assist me to their best ability during a second year assessment investigation. the uni offers many different clubs, societies and support groups, the organisation of these however is questionable. overall the quality of your experience will be based on your course and attitude. dont expect the traditional uni experience.
