The university is huge with many campus spread across Bedfordshire county. The teaching is one the best and the staff.were very helpful. The university is well equipped with all the infrastructure well developed. My course mates were one of the best. Definitely worth studying Herr for the cheap prices. Many scholarship and Bursaries are available.

I am studying midwifery at Bedfordshire uni. I am based at the Aylesbury campus, the course itself is really good, it is a tad unorganised, but generally well run. All of the lecturers are brilliant and provide great support. The downside of being based in Aylesbury is there is no student accommodation through the uni, the accommodation through the hospital is of a very poor standard, there is also no student union for any students to meet those from other years and to arrange social events. Some of our uni days are also in Luton which is a long way to go for a few hours. The learning experience and resources used for learning have been of a very high standard, the skills labs are very useful and help with the training required. The library in Luton has recently been done up and is huge. There is so much space this is great. However the one in Aylesbury is a bit of a let down in comparison.

As a part time student, the course is ran very well and is organised in a good manner. The tutors are very helpful and are always willing to help. However, I feel that some sessions are ‘pointless’ where things are gone over too many times.

Bedford is an extremely relaxed Uni. The new gateway building, gym, sports hall and Astro are major attractions and great facilities. The lectures are at times interesting however I regard few of them outstanding. The student union are fully suppprtive if what you do, they are open to voices and opinions It is a friendly environment and beaming with support. If you are doing a postgrad the financial support vastly deteriorates

The campus is beautiful and very new. It has brand new library with many floors, which also includes a primary school area. This is the best part of the University!

Not really worth applying here, place is dodgy, courses are generally taught awfully and its really disappointing nightlife for someone especially who comes from a town for example

I kind of like some things the university has to offer but the Luton campus (where I study) is in a terrible location. I don't feel safe nor happy there

The campus isn't the most glamorous, however it is a good size, easily signposted and has lots of seating everywhere (fab for some last minute studies!).

Not the best university for ratings, but in my experience the staff are really hardworking and helpful, the courses in the life sciences department are varied and very interesting. I am now in third year and have found my time there to be very enjoyable. The nightlife is not the best, as the city itself is not really known for that, although London is a good night out and only a short train/bus journey away. The accommodation is very modern and well run, and the social aspect of halls is very inclusive with plenty of opportunities to get to know people. The surrounding area is perhaps not for everyone and I would highly suggest going to an open day and exploring the surrounding area as well as the uni itself before making a decision.

The campus is quite nice, especially the new library block. There are also plans of opening a new science block which will allow more degree subjects to be taught such as chemistry and physics. The biomedical science course is interesting as you learn a variety of subjects. You get a choice of research projects on the final year too. However, some of the lecturers read off the slides and are not worth going to.
